About Me

My name is Steve. My journey to healing and self-discovery has been a long, winding road—one that I now see was necessary to bring me to where I am today.

I grew up in a traditional French family where wine and alcohol were a natural part of daily life. Looking back, I now realize they were often used as a way to cope with the stresses of everyday living.

By the time I was 16, I started leaning on alcohol, smoking, and eventually drugs. At the time, it felt like an escape to life challenges, a way to cope with the reality I didn’t know how to face. But instead of fixing anything, those habits just became part of my life. By my late 30s, I was stuck in a cycle of drinking every night, especially with friends, trying to drown out the deeper feelings I didn’t want to confront.

Then came the wake-up call. Just after my 30th birthday, I went through a painful breakup. It completely shattered me, and for the first time, I couldn’t ignore the fact that something had to change. Five days later, I packed a backpack and decided to travel the world. I didn’t have a solid plan, but I knew I couldn’t keep living the way I had been.

It was during my travels in Australia that everything started to shift. I stumbled across yoga, starting with simple meditation. Sitting still with myself wasn’t easy at first, but something about it clicked. Then I signed up for a seven-day yoga retreat, not knowing what to expect. Honestly, it shook me to my core. For the first time in years, I felt like I was waking up to my own life.

That experience was life-changing.

I realized I didn’t want to go back to the person I was before.

So, I enrolled in a year-long, intensive yoga training in Byron Bay, Australia.

It was the hardest and most transformative year of my life. Through the practice, I started peeling back the layers of pain, fear, and avoidance that I had been carrying for so long.

Yoga didn’t just heal my body—it healed my mind and my spirit.

Looking back, I see how lost I was and how disconnected I felt from myself. Yoga gave me a way to come back home, to find balance, and to see my own worth. And that’s why I’m so passionate about sharing it with others. I want to give people the tools to reconnect with themselves, no matter how heavy life feels.

I know what it’s like to feel out of place, like you’re carrying a weight you can’t quite explain. I know how scary it is to face yourself, but I also know how freeing it can be to take that first step. Wherever you are on your journey, I’m here to guide you, to support you, and to remind you that you don’t have to do this alone.

We all deserve to feel at home in our own lives. You deserve that too!
